Wix Is the BEST Hosting Service in 2026

I am a Wix partner. All of my clients use Wix, because we cater to small businesses that don't always have the capacity for a retainer. Wix is easy enough that we train our clients on making changes themselves and they really love that! When they mess up, we go in fix it and they're happier!

The ability to have full control of placement on the Website. All other hosting services limit you or force you to use spacers to place an image in a certain spot. Wix does not. The drag and drop features are amazing and you really don't have to use a bunch of apps to accomplish a simple Website. The new Wix Studio makes it even easier to place items on pages on the same spot. It's just a great service!

Cons:

Before, I didn't like that I had to also review the mobile site. I found it was very limited, but NOW, I can fix everything easily and it let's me move things around, resize them and everything!

Awesome versatility of application and real human tech support

Great! I've had to rebuild my entire website because the last company I was using for years switched everything to be run by AI. And it crashed my search engine position. And just about killed my business entirely. Coming over to WIX was a challenge because I had to start over from scratch. But there are so many more options with WIX than with their competitors. It's a little mind blowing. In a good way. There's a bit of a learning curve. But I don't mind it at all. It makes me a better business owner.

I'm amazed at the versatility of what is available. I also am extremely satisfied with their customer and tech support. Unlike other companies that are using AI in place of actual human beings. I don't spend hours as their AI test subject while my online business goes down the tubes. They have actual knowledgeable people there to help.

Cons:

It takes time to learn the system because there's a lot there. But that's not a bad thing really. Other companies have dumbed things to a point that the applications don't function well. I'm grateful that I have the option of learning this application and that it actually does what is sets out to do.

They are running everything with AI now. And they didn't bother to test it out to see what would happen. It crashed my search engine listings by the way AI is not posting the URL. It's bad. And you can't really speak to a person. Their tech support never gets back to you. Even when you outline what the problem in and how to fix it. They just ignore you. They want you to spend $700 a month with their consulting people to fix their destruction of your business by what they've done to your online presence.

WIX is the "Poster Child" for Customer Service!

Every time, the overall experience with WIX is 10 out of 10. I deal with other digital marketing technology suppliers, and they can't measure up to WIX when it comes to customer service.

I'm a large user of WIX products and I can tell you that their strong customer service is as big of a reason for that as the website design software. I feel WIX should write the book on top quality customer service across the board. With my many clients, I've relied on the service experts more than I can count and every time a solution was made. They care about your needs, every time!

Cons:

The AI Customer Care system can tend to drag on with no real solution, but articles you can read. Most of my needs are more specific than an article topic.

Didn't find anything that gave me the confidence that a change was needed. Plus, the stability of knowing the WIX services and that I could depend on them, no matter what a client's need would be.

Today I experienced an Excellent Care Team Member for Wix!

My overall experience has been fresh and enlightening. There's still a really great balance between automation, ai, and manual design on the Wix platform. I'd definitely recommend it for everyone.

I've always liked that this is a user friendly website builder. But most of all I like that when you've exhausted the Ai options, a HUMAN is available. I honestly wouldn't have been able to solve my issue without a human looking physically looking at my site and walking me through the resolution.

Cons:

I don't like the Velo app for back end code, it's very limited. I think the entire site code should simply be readily accessible on the settings tab. If you mess it up, you could simply go back in the history of the changes with an arrow, or at the very least just go back and republish the version if the site prior to changing the code.

So easy to use - there dozens of apps to augment your site and loads of guides / tips / wizards to help with content, marketing, sales etc. Brilliant and easy to update and publish changes

Cons:

At the start when I set up my domain and email etc it was hard to understand how to link them all and update Domain DNS settings etc - like a difference language but google helped!

The ease of making a site and when I ran into issues a wix expert helped me out. There were a lot of customization options that helped immensely. The logo and branding was a breeze with help from wix. I have not yet tried the marketing they have, but I soon will, seems very simple.

Some of the back end stuff was a little confusing, but overall not bad. Price could be a little lower so new shop owners can make a start

Wix is a longstanding and well know Website Builder and Hosting provider. It has stood its ground amongst fierce competition from Squarespace and Cargo. I like its ease of use and domain offering too. There is great e-commerce capability and store building. You can even often get a free domain as long as you include the 'Wix' name in it. This is a great way to get started and explore creating a website without investing a lot of finance upfront.

Cons:

I think the building of the sites has come a long way. It takes a while to learn the process, but once you master it, it feels like a great skill and asset. It does require a bit of time and at present, I think the AI capability could be slightly improved.
