On the Stage is top-notch
They are professional, prompt, and courteous. The product is so smooth and any hiccups are addressed quickly.
PROSThe custom website through which we manage promotions, ticketing, concessions, merchandising and more!
CONSIt is pricey. They keep a nice chunk of our money.

I did not consider other products. I have only used On the Stage because it is so good.

I love it
I love it. It has helped so much! I cannot believe how much it has to offer.
PROSI love on the stage it allows us to not only have a website, but it helps us advertise for shows and fundraisers. Without on the stage I do not think we would have been able to pul off the fundraiser we just finished or reach all the people we did.
CONSI wish the emails that go out for scheduled fundraisers were a little more customizable

Why I Use On The Stage
This product is great! We can use it minimally for just credit card and ticket sales or expand it for other purposes such as marketing, fundraising and even sales.
PROSWe can easily manage our credit card sales, sell merch without a cash outlay, and promote our shows.
CONSIt is difficult to upload merch or make changes to the established template (for example, if I want just a small logo on the shirt, I can't do it.)

CCHS Theatre Review
Overall, my experience with On The Stage has been very good. There are some additional features that I think would be extremely beneficial to the platform and I’ve discussed these with my agent, but they do not seem to go anywhere overall, the pricing is not unreasonable, but higher than other platforms that I could be using. The selling feature for me is the webpage and the design elements that On The Stage offers and their marketing capabilities.
PROSWhat I like most about On The Stage is the webpage design and marketing elements. They are also extremely efficient and prompt with payouts.
CONSI wish that On The Stage had the option to not allow for gap seats between purchases in a venue. We often have clients that leave a single seat between their purchase and adjacent seats, and it is very difficult to sell these. We have mentioned this to On The Stage, in the hopes that there would be, the ability to set a parameter whereby gap seats could not be left by clients. Other ticketing platforms do provide the service. But as of yet, this is not something that On The Stage is capable of. This would make it very big difference for us in sales we sell out frequently and have the most difficult time selling single seats. Additionally, it is not simple for our clients to buy multiple tickets to multiple performances in one transaction. If that were simpler and more transparent process, it would make things much easier for our clients.

Great for busy teachers
Overall, my experience has been very positive, and I have no intention of changing to another service!
PROSI love that OTS not only takes care of ticketing, including reserved seating, but includes additional web pages for things like cast and crew bios and show merch. Additionally, setting everything up is relatively easy and self-explanatory for people who are not tech savvy.
CONSThe most difficult thing is customizing our show site. OTS provides detailed specs for things like page headers, but they have never worked for us no matter how closely we follow the specs. So we end up reverting to designes provided by OTS rather than our own custom designs. Integration with social media is a little clunky.
